Autumn Encore Bearded Iris

Autumn Encore is a uniquely hued iris that flaunts its flowers not once but twice during the course of a season! This cultivar's stunning blooms open in mid to late spring and, as hinted at in its name, flower again in late summer to early fall. They are held aloft by strong, 36" stalks, so this iris is perfect for use in the back boundary of a garden or in a fresh-cut arrangement. These ruffled blooms are mostly imperial purple with a white ground. What really makes them stand out is the ¾" edging of imperial purple adorning the white on each lower petal. White beards with yellow tips add even more color. Excellent for naturalizing!
