Description
A small, multi-stemmed tree or large shrub, the Cornelian Cherry Dogwood is a tough and adaptable plant. Tight clusters of tiny, star-shaped yellow flowers bloom in early spring, covering the tree before leaves emerge. Red fruits attract songbirds mid-summer. Bark is an attractive dark grey to reddish-brown with scaly, exfoliating patches for some winter interest. Use Golden Glory as a specimen, hedge, or in the mixed border
